Jason Keefer Photography is a wedding photography studio located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Serving locally to Charlottesville and Richmond, VA, including Washington DC and destination weddings.
Established in 2005, our goal is to delicately photograph each wedding with a mindfulness that is honest, respectful, and deliberate. We provide the highest quality service to clients who value the art of photography and the experiences that comes along with creating it. We are both heavily influenced by culture, fashion, art, music and cinema. Our style of wedding photography is fine art documentary photojournalism combining traditional color and B&W 35mm film and digital photography. This unique blend provides an artistic flavor and a true sense of the story and personalities. Available for, but not limited to, family and children portraits, special events photography, wedding photography, and boudoir in Charlottesville, VA Richmond, Virginia & Washington DC. We carry an extensive list of fine art products and we're always willing to try something new. Thank you for visiting and check back often to view our latest work.

was born and raised in Cecil, Pennsylvania, a small town outside of Pittsburgh. He got his first job at age 16, slinging pizzas and wearing a giant and slightly scary mouse costume for Chuck E. Cheese's. It was during this time when his passion for photographing the world around him began. In 1991, Jason joined the Navy as a photographer. His tours have taken him to over 20 countries, and his work has varied from photo lab dark room technician, digital imagery specialist to intelligence and reconnaissance photographer. After working 3 years at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington DC, Jason was accepted into Syracuse University's Advanced Military Photojournalism program at Newhouse School of Communications. He graduated in 1999 and went on to work as a combat photographer at Combat Camera in Norfolk, VA where he completed missions in the Gulf, Nigeria and Vieques Island., Puerto Rico.
After ten years of military service, Jason retired from the Navy in 2001 and decided to turn his artistic eye towards wedding photography. Since then, he has shot hundreds of events and weddings, the majority of them being in the VA, Washington DC, MD metro area. Jason's work has been featured in numerous print publications and online resources. Jason sums up his style by, "viewing the world's beauty in the simplest form... truth. A person or a thing's true state is so beautiful it can sometimes only be seen with certain eyes. I identify with this beauty and do not alter it's original state, revealing the true nature."

grew up in a U.S. Marine Corps family, and spent her childhood in Iwakuni, Japan, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
While serving as a US Army nuclear-biological-chemical specialist in Germany, she bought a cheap point-and-shoot film camera and began documenting the goings-on around her. From training missions in the field to life in the barracks, Tammy fell in love with photographing her comrades. She began pursuing photography in 2002.
Tammy has an unconventional approach of blending documentary, fine art, and lifestyle into her work. Paired with an appreciation and understanding of light, balance, and emotion, she will offer an artistically delicate and timeless perspective to your event or vision.
Tammy's other loves include origami paper folding, Muay Thai and cute, fluffy animals. Admittedly, she's an avid poker tournament and Bingo player, as well as a scary movie buff.
